Run on Apple Watch
Your beginner plan on your wrist. The watch taps you when it’s time to run and time to walk, and shows your heart rate live.

A plan run, start to finish
Five minutes of brisk walking, your run and walk intervals, five minutes to cool down. Then one question, and your streak.

Questions
Does Run work on Apple Watch?
Yes. Run has an Apple Watch app for free runs and plan runs, with walk/run interval guidance, live heart rate and complications. It needs watchOS 8 or later and the Run app on your iPhone.
Can I do Couch to 5K–style intervals on Apple Watch?
Yes. The Run plan is made of walk/run intervals, and the watch guides each one with a tap on the wrist and a voice cue, so you never have to look at a timer.
Do runs recorded with the Apple Workout app count?
Yes. Run reads running workouts from Apple Health, so runs from the Workout app and other apps count in your stats, levels and badges.
